is in november, i know. but here we are with another classic post from the way-back blog machine. this is getting to be kind of fun...
beatrix and i set out to make the special birthday cake we make with no eggs or dairy that's safe for bebe to eat. it's also pretty tasty!
now, baking is not my strong suit when it comes to cooking. i'm not a total loss in the kitchen, but i tend to find the things i'm good at and stick to them. there's not a lot of variety there, and baking is one of those places i don't often go.

once the liquids get involved, it's choob time. off with the shirt!
the thing about mixing is that it's only fun for about the first ten seconds. keep at it, beebs!

"to get a piece of you, imma tell you what i'll do, gonna stick my face right in and-"
no, you're not.
no, you're not.
you're not sticking your face in that cake.
"aw, mayun!"
at least it still tasted good!
(*it didn't.)
later on, bebe and i walked up to the neighborhood market to get some things for dinner.
