on the fifth day of halloween, beatrix marie got this great book:
it's called The House in the Night.
it's not big on story, but i loved the wood-block style illustrations and use of color. it's got a lot of detail and the art style is unique- lush and highly detailed but neat and uncrowded.
we highly recommend it!
